If you need a new septic system on your property, you have more options than you might think.

Modern septic systems can be designed to fit every property just right. Whatever your priorities are, local septic design experts can help you meet your goals and build the best system for you.

Here are some tips to help you pick the best septic design for your property:

1. Soil / Percolation Test

The first step to designing your new septic system will a soil test done on your property.

A soil test, or percolation test, measures the soil on your property to find out how quickly liquids drain through it. That’s how you know if you can safely install a leach field on the natural soil.

If your ground percolates too quickly, you could be risking pollution. So, to protect the environment and find out what kind of septic design is best for you, schedule your percolation test with a local septic company.

2. Consider Your Budget

After you get a percolation test on your property, it’s time to think about your budget.

Septic designs come in a wide range of prices. While a traditional tank and leach field system is the most affordable, it’s also the most likely to need repairs a few years down the road.

Spending a little more on a modern, alternative septic design today might be worth it in the long run.

Talk to a septic design specialist about the best options for your budget. They’ll help you find that perfect balance between affordability and long-lasting quality.

3. Hire The Best Local Septic Company

Installing a new septic system might sound like a hassle, but it doesn’t have to be if you work with the pros.

NextGen Septic is an awesome company in Northern California that can help you out. Their experts will handle everything, from the percolation test to installation. They’ll work with you to make sure you’re sticking to your budget and getting the best possible septic design for your property.

You make a great point about how septic designs being more traditional in nature. I need to get a complete tank overhaul. I'll have to consider getting a septic pumping since it has been a long time.

You made a good point when you shared that it is wise to talk to a reliable septic tank specialist regarding the best available option for you. My aunt just mentioned the other day that she is going to move to a new house in a few weeks and she is thinking of installing a septic tank in the backyard of her new home. I will suggest to her looking for a reliable company that can offer to design and provide the best one for her.

It's good to know that you need to have a soil test done for your property. My husband and I recently decided that we want to look into getting a septic system installed for our home in a couple of weeks, and we want to make sure that we do everything right. We'll make sure to keep these tips in mind once we find a septic service that can install one for our home.
